WHAT IS A FLEX LEAGUE?

A Flex League is sanctioned weekly league play built around your schedule. Instead of committing to one fixed night, you throw your games any time your venue is open during the league week. Show up when it suits you, throw your rounds under a certified judge, and your scores are logged toward the season standings and the WKTL global rankings. That flexibility is what makes it “flex” — the same competitive structure, without the rigid weeknight commitment. To join, all you need is a WKTL-affiliated venue near you.

How It Works

Weekly League Play

Throw a set of sanctioned games each league week at your venue, scored by a certified judge under official WKTL rules.

Throw at Your Pace

No fixed league night. Come in whenever your venue is open during the week, or throw games in advance if you’ll be away.

Scores Feed the Rankings

Every sanctioned game counts toward your season standings, seeding, and your place on the WKTL global leaderboard.

Week-8 Playoffs

The regular season closes with a week-8 playoff tournament, seeded by your league results, to crown the season’s champions.

HOW A SEASON WORKS

A Flex League season runs seven weeks of regular-season throwing, followed by a week-8 playoff tournament. In an ordinary week you’ll throw four games, and your results build your seeding across the season.

Leagues carry a minimum participation threshold — a sanctioned league needs a minimum number of throwers who each complete enough games over the season — and every league is run at a WKTL-affiliated venue with a certified judge present.

Life happens, so the format is forgiving. Venues offer a grace period for late arrivals, and if you miss a session you can make up games on a later league night or throw ahead if you know you’ll be away. When the regular season wraps, the week-8 playoff — typically a double-elimination bracket seeded by your season results — decides the champions. For the full detail, read Section E of the rulebook.
